Fran has worked with children and young people in Suffolk for over 12 years, initially working in an alternative provision, then as a Senior Therapeutic Lead for Suffolk County Council Psychology and Therapeutic services. Fran has worked for a charity for children with a diagnosis of ASD for 12 years which has changed her life. Fran works and worked for incredibly hardworking and passionate women, who fundamentally inspired and led Fran to BAYA.

Whatever has led you here we aunder no illusion that there have  been some very difficult moments along the way. 

Although the above brings you reassurance of professionalism, qualifications and experience, please know Fran is a human first and foremost and all which that comes with.

Life can be complicated no matter what age you are, getting to the point where you are reading this means you are exploring ways to help someone you love or to help yourself. That takes courage and kindness. Which we all need. 

Please know that Baya keeps that at the core of everything.

Why a Whale? 

The whale metaphorically represents the values and principles that underpin what BAYA. 

Whales are the foundation that Baya is built upon as they demonstrate self-awareness, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, empathy, family values, teaching skills, grief, joy and playfulness.
